Elbert
Vantage Founder
Stanford University
MS in Bioengineering
Johns Hopkins University
BS in Biomedical Engineering
Elbert was born in the US, but grew up in Taiwan and studied at Taipei American School. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins, Elbert continued his graduate studies in Bioengineering and Neuroscience at Stanford. In addition to inventing medical devices at Hopkins, he worked in global consulting firms and founded multiple educational tech startups. His educational background as well as rich and diverse experiences shaped his creative mindset, which plays a key role in how he guides and coaches his students.
Despite his think-outside-the-box personality, Elbert is big on fundamentals. He believes in building strong reading, writing and math core skills above all else. For years, he has worked with students from marquee international schools across Asia and top US boarding schools on school academic subjects and SAT/AP training. He has successfully helped hundreds of students achieve 1500+ in SAT, 35+ in ACT and 5’s in APs. Strong grades and test scores make a competitively qualified student.
College consulting should not simply be a PR effort to magnify the student’s image. Rather, it should stubbornly care and focus on maximizing the student’s abilities. Every student Elbert works with, he abides by this simple philosophy.
Hubert
Director of Education
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
BS in Electrical Engineering
Hubert was born in the United States but spent his childhood in Taiwan, giving him the best of both worlds. After completing high school at Taipei American School, Hubert went on to study electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Post-college, Hubert embarked on a journey of self-discovery that spanned several ventures, including an ed-tech internet startup catering to the academic communities of Stanford University and Columbia University, a wine app aimed at improving tasting events and increasing wine sales, and an English language school disrupting the traditional cram school culture in Taiwan.
Hubert firmly believes that students possess the potential to explore their passions, navigate uncharted territories, and carve out a distinct path of growth and development. With the right guidance and advice, students can discover their true potential, and achieve their aspirations. Hubert's conviction stems from his deep-rooted belief that education should foster creativity, instill critical thinking, and promote self-discovery.
